Privacy

This policy covers every app Benoni Productions LLC publishes for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. The short version: the apps don't collect your personal information, and there is no server to send it to.

What we collect

Nothing. The apps have no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics or tracking SDKs. We don't see your name, email, location, contacts, or how you use the app.

Where your data lives

Everything you enter — journal entries, prayer requests, memorized verses, songs, stories, quizzes, workouts — is stored on your device. Where an app offers iCloud sync, that data moves through your own Apple account under Apple's terms and privacy policy. We have no access to it and no server of our own. Deleting an app deletes its local data.

Bible text

Read Pray Grow and FaithGrow Kids look up Bible passages as you read them, from two scripture services: API.Bible, from the American Bible Society, for most translations, and Crossway’s ESV API for the English Standard Version. Each request carries only the passage and translation being looked up, plus a key that identifies the app, not you. There’s no account, no device identifier, and no usage profile. Like any web request, the service can see the network address the request comes from. ExerGrow and Kids Grow Stories don’t use either service: ExerGrow’s verses are built into the app, and Kids Grow Stories has no network connection at all.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple provides us with anonymous, aggregate sales reports that can't be traced to an individual buyer.

Health data

If an app reads from or writes to Apple Health, it does so only with your explicit permission and only for the feature you asked for. Health readings an app shows you stay in Apple Health and on your device: they aren't synced to iCloud, aren't sent to us, and are never used for advertising or shared with anyone.

Children

Kids Grow Stories is made for children under 10, and it collects nothing at all: no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no network connection, and no links out of the app. Story progress and settings stay on the device. Because nothing is collected from a child, there is nothing for a parent to review or delete, and deleting the app removes everything.

FaithGrow Kids is made for the teachers and parents who lead kids’ classes, not for children to use on their own, and it collects nothing from children. Our other apps are made for adults and aren’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included.

Third parties

We don't sell, rent, or share information, because we don't have any to sell. Apple is involved as the platform and payment processor. The only other outside services are API.Bible and Crossway’s ESV API, for the scripture lookups in Read Pray Grow and FaithGrow Kids described above, and any video site you choose to link to inside ExerGrow.

Your rights

Laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you the right to access, correct, and delete personal information a company holds about you. We hold none. Your data is on your device, under your control, and you can delete it at any time by deleting the app. If you used iCloud sync, delete the app's iCloud data too: Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.

Read Pray Grow

Verses, prayer requests, journal entries, and memorization progress are stored on your device and synced through your own iCloud account. No analytics, no accounts, no advertising. Bible passages are retrieved as you read them, from API.Bible (CSB, NKJV, NASB, KJV, WEB, BSB) and from Crossway’s ESV API (ESV).

FaithGrow Kids

Songs, setlists, stories, quizzes, and class programs are stored on your device and synced through your own iCloud account. Photos you add to a story stay in the app on your device and are never uploaded to us. Bible passages are retrieved from API.Bible and from Crossway’s ESV API. FaithGrow Kids is intended for use by teachers and parents, contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no accounts or sign-in of any kind, and collects nothing from children.

ExerGrow

Workouts, routines, and progress are stored on your device and synced through your own iCloud account. With your permission, ExerGrow saves your workouts to Apple Health and reads heart rate, active energy, and cardio fitness back to show alongside your history. Those health readings are kept only on your device — they aren't part of iCloud sync or device backups — and can always be read again from Apple Health. They're used only to show you your own training and are never sent to us, sold, or used for advertising. You can withdraw access at any time in iOS Settings under Health.

Workout generation and the chat coach run entirely on your device, using Apple Intelligence where it's available — what you enter about your goals, equipment, or injuries is never transmitted anywhere. Scripture in ExerGrow is built into the app (Berean Standard Bible, public domain), so it makes no scripture lookups. If you attach a YouTube or Vimeo link to an exercise, that video loads from the linked site under its own privacy policy.

Kids Grow Stories

Kids Grow Stories is made for children, so it is deliberately the simplest app here. Story progress and settings are stored on your device. There is no sign-in, no chat, no user-generated content, no advertising of any kind, and no third-party analytics. Nothing is collected from your child, and nothing leaves the device: the app has no network connection and no links out of it.
